What Class does this leave you in (at work at the moment)?  I have one of these in S and A, but the tunes are no where near done as well.  My S Class was tuned by a Notorius Viper Tuner, I might be able to give you some pointers when I get a chance to look it over...

A Class - A850 to be more precise!

Ooops, thought this was the convertable (just looked at one in FM.net auction house) I have one of these also in S and A, but i think we went in different directions (gripped the hell out of mine in A)....  But glancing at your set up, man that is a stiff looking suspension (spring rates/dampening/rebound) and a high % on the rear acceleration differential.  I am guessing that it is pretty loose?

Good eye there Muppet.  It is setup for a stiffer type setup, which is how I initially tune most my cars then back off from there.  I am trying to get it around the same type setup as the Camaro SS we are running.  Where it is a mid grip / mid speed car.  Not really worried about doing 220 down the long straights of Road America.  I think I am going to remove the Front Aero (per Yerkos advice) as I am currecntly running no downforce on it anyway.  That should give me the little boost of speed I need while not comprimising on handling.   After running a few laps at Maple Valley, Mug Short, and Suzuka, the car is pushing really hard into and out of turns.  So I must have it tweaked way too tightly.  Gonna play around with Toe, ARB, and Spring settings to see what I can do to better that.

If if is pushing, the front aero may need to stay, especially with sport tires.  Also removing the front aero will up the PI above 850, some other compromise will have to be made.  I built one with exactly your specs last night but did not get to turn a single lap in yet.  I hope to soon.

"Pushing hard into and out of turns" (here is what I would do) soften up front sway bar, maybe give it a little downforce in the front, reduce the dampening/rebound a little, baby steps on softening up the front springs, reduce % of deceleration in rear end (I usually run 50% or lower for front engine-rear drive cars - this can actually help turn in)...

Well I got it built and slapped on a paint scheme that has been collecting dust, thought you might get a kick out of it

Looking good there!!!  I did take off the fron Aero this morning with zero ill effects.  In fact, that fron pushing has now susbsided a good bit.  Still need to tweak the springs as you suggested.  Look forward to running you some tonight in them.

Have to admit I am a little shocked the push did not get worse, what else did you change as removing the front bumper should have upped the PI?

Just got a lower PI Rim.  there are still about 3 to choose from that will get you to 850, I also, tweaked the FD Gear Ratio a tad bit...

That might have done it depending...

if it is still pushing coming out ,try and stiffen the fron rebound ,what i think is happening is the weight is transfering to the rear to fast ,see if this helps

Also, been tinkering with it a good bit, but it still just wants to push on sweeping turns and oversteer on sharp turns.  Really starting to tick me off.  I know this car can be great, just got to spend more time tweaking it I guess.

I finally got a chance to tinker and put some laps on this thing (without the front aero), and all I have to say is "FOR SALE.  Anyone want a cheap Viper?"  This thing is a royal P.I.T.A.  Tight on entry and exit, but loose in the middle.  More tweaking to come...

Tell me about it Muppet.  This thing is about to drive me f***ing crazy.  I have yet to find that Holy Grail of balance I have been looking for with this car,  I have never had so much trouble trying to tune a freaking car.  I have it a bit more stable then the specs I listed up above.  When I get a chance I will post them up.  Regardless, it is still not very confidence inspiring trying to drive it around a track and be competitive.
