So I did some calculations and if I am right, the Scions can go about 60 miles on a tank of gas.  With the tracks chosen, 1 has been added to make this 6 weeks (chew up some time before FM3) we are looking at some potentially long races or some where you MAY not have to stop.  Any thoughts?

1)      7/14 Suzuka East 1.39 miles x 50 laps = 69.5 miles.  You will have to stop.

2)      7/21 Mugello Short 1.79 miles x 25 laps = 44.75 miles you wont have to stop.  Or we can make this 50 laps, 89.5 miles and you will have to stop but this is potentially a long race.  VOTE 25 laps or 50 laps.

3)      7/28 Maple Short 1.16 miles x 50 laps = 58 miles.  Crap shoot, you might make it and you might not, but your tires will be shot.  I am not going to run 75 laps.

4)      8/4 Laguna Seca 2.23 miles x 25 laps = 56.25.  Crap shoot again, you may or not make it on fuel, but your tires will be shot.  I am not going to run 50 laps in these cars.

5)      8/11 Motegi Oval 1.5 miles x 50 laps = 75 miles.  You will have to stop.

6)      8/18 Sebring Short 2 miles x 25 laps = 50 miles.  You will make and potentially have decent tires.  Or 50 laps = 100 miles and you will have to stop but again this is a potentially long race.  VOTE 25 or 50 laps.

So we have to decide on laps for 2 races.  Weeks 2 and 6, do we run 25 or 50 laps?  I am taking into consideration that we are not all in the same time zone, please also take this into consideration when you vote.  Another option since I know I will not be here on 8/4 is to put in an off week.

Share your thoughts.  25 or 50 on Mugello Short.  25 or 50 on Sebring.  Off week option or race through.

Oh, and who is definately in, we have more drivers than room to race?  If this is not something you want to do then please allow for someone that wants in to race in this series.

Well, 2 things from me.

1: How about making it a Mandatory Pitstop, meaning you HAVE to stop at least once during the race, and

2: Can we drop the Oval for something else, I just find it kinda boring.

And on the 4th August (8/4), I won't be around for that date either as I'll be on holiday.

The shorter races for each of the longer races is fine with me...  I think the pitstops should not be mandentory but I'll go along with either way.  I think we should take a week off on the 4th if you guys already know you're going to miss that week.

Let's go...

Muppet I can't beleive you want the Mazda race shortened especially after that door to door bumper to bumper race we had!

I vote 50 laps on both tracks. And for the pits one way or another is fine with me.

I think Dmenn was interested as well, but I would give the OG Juke his spot if he is for the races.

Welp I was kinda hoping for a consesus on the laps.....so I will make the call of the shorter race and pit stops are NOT mandatory.  Though if there is a caution you would be a fool not to stop.

The oval is fun IF you can make it through with out damage, so 8/4 will be a non points race at the oval - or skip it all together as it is technically a week off.
